Research published in April 2020 by The New England Journal of Medicine revealed that COVID-19 can remain present for up to 72 hours on hard surfaces, with surface transmission being a major concern. The study found that Coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) can be detected on plastic and stainless steel up to 3 days after initial transmission.
Bailey’s Property Detailing Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) specialises in enhanced environmental cleaning which prevents surface transmission through daily sanitation of frequently used touch points and surfaces. Our services comply with the Australian government’s COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control guidelines specific to environmental cleaning and sanitation.

What We Do
Bailey’s Property Detailing provides two different levels of COVID-19 cleaning and decontamination based on the particular client circumstances and physical facilities. They fall into two categories – Precautionary Sanitation and Deep Clean Decontamination.
Peace of Mind / Precautionary Sanitation
Precautionary Sanitations are relevant to workplaces or facilities with one or more suspected cases of COVID-19 in low to medium risk environments.
This level of COVID-19 cleaning service is designed to mitigate risk through preventing potential spread of the virus. This is achieved through an appropriate combination of fogging and manual sanitation of the subject areas. We work closely with the key stakeholders and on-site representative to ensure we adopt the right processes and frequency unique to that environment.
We cover sanitation of your property and facilities of frequently used touch points and surfaces including but not limited to Doors, Door Handles, Intercom Systems Keypads, Handrails, Elevators, Escalators, Communal Areas and Seating, Storage Rooms, Office Spaces, Waste Facilities and Machinery/Equipment to effectively kill and stop the spread of bacteria.
Deep Clean Decontamination
A Deep Clean Decontamination is required when there are one or more suspected cases in a high-risk facility, or one confirmed case in any setting.
This level of COVID-19 cleaning service is designed to fully decontaminate a facility – both structural hard surfaces and contents providing a high degree of assurance for safe reoccupation.
Our Products and Training
Baileys Property Detailing only uses chemicals recognized by world health authorities as suitable for corona virus decontamination cleans.
Our services meet the criteria prescribed by the Environmental Protection Agency (USA) for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), and are approved for use by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
We have engaged with GCG Health Safety & Hygiene to do our Respirator Fit Testing and COVID-19 risk management plan, which is available for viewing via our accreditation page.
Our services comply with the Australian and Queensland Government’s COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control guidelines, specific to environmental cleaning and sanitation.
Our team only uses equipment and personal protection equipment (PPE) and products that complies with the Australian Government’s COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control guidelines, and have completed the relevant Australian government COVID-19 Training and Infection Prevention and Control Course.
A sanitation/decontamination Verification Assessment can be provided upon request, at extra cost.
